Lambert, Edwards & Associates moved its Metro Detroit office to downtown Detroit last year to increase the Grand Rapids-based PR firm's visibility in the region. To say its ground-floor space in the Opera House Parking Garage has accomplished that might be underselling the success.
"We have really accomplished that in spades," says Jeff Lambert, president & managing partner of
Lambert, Edwards & Associates. "The office has been just great for our employees. Customers have been using it for meetings and events."
The company opened the office last year with a dozen employees. Today the firm has 15 employees and two interns in its downtown Detroit office. Its recent hires have run the gamut of senior-level staff to entry-level workers. Lambert expects the Detroit office could hit 20 employees within the next three years. The company employs 45 people overall after hiring six total people in the last year.
Lambert, Edwards & Associates provides public relations services to a broad range of clients, ranging from automotive to the financial sector. It has grown its revenue in recent years thanks to the uptick in major markets of its client base, such as automotive. It has also watched its digital unit experience a spike in demand for its services.
"That has also been growing quite nicely," Lambert says.
